Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment that delivers exceptional care. Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification). The role requires empathy, collaboration, and commitment to improving health care.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobility and ability to remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity
Ability to reach overhead and stretch or reach
Ability to extend arms in multiple directions
Precision control
Stoop to a considerable degree
Close visual acuity
Oral communication skills
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to provide patient immunizations after meeting state regulations
