Job Description:

Pharmacy internship opportunity at CVS Health where interns will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe Retail Pharmacy environment, adopting and managing patient care programs, and helping with workflow management. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a pharmacy school, possess strong communication skills, and meet physical requirements such as mobility and lifting. Preferred qualifications include immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Ability to reach overhead to grasp items
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree, including bending spine at the waist
Ability to visually inspect and transcribe involving small parts
Able to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
Complete all required training and obtain required licensure (if applicable) within state guidelines

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
