Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will deliver exceptional care, uphold company values, and contribute to the overall goal of improving healthcare outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Adopt and manage patient care programs

Comply with pharmacy professional practice and regulatory requirements

Manage inventory workflow excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity
Reach overhead, stretch or reach out with body, arms, and/or legs
Precision control
Stoop to a considerable degree
Close visual acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, or reading
Able to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
