Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You have a significant role ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to patients, while engaging in patient safety, professional practice, quality assurance, and team leadership.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead, stretch or reach out with body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) in multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop requiring full use of lower extremities and back muscles to move items
Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity for activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
Able to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
