Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Duties include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.

Adoption and management of patient care programs

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity
Reach overhead
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control
Stoop to move items between low and high positions
Visual Acuity
Orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Exert force to move objects.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
