Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you have a significant role in our company working as a part of the pharmacy team– delivering our purpose, modeling our values, and demonstrating genuine, authentic care for our patients.

Job Responsibility:

Adoption and management of patient care programs
Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Seek new ways to grow and collaborate with others
Facilitate team culture promoting caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to work in a mobile and upright position for extended periods
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Dexterity for typing and picking with fingers
Ability to reach overhead, stretch body parts, and grasp items
Ability to stoop and move items between low and high positions
Precision control to adjust machines
Visual acuity for transcribing and reading
Effective oral communication
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Completion of additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
Completion of required training and licensure within state guidelines.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Providing patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
