Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you’ll work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, providing superior customer service, managing inventory, and promoting a culture of care.

  • Manage workflow excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

  • Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
  • 0-3 years relevant work experience
  • Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
  • Ability to: have regular and predictable attendance (including nights and weekends), be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time, lift, scan, and bag items, demonstrate finger dexterity, reach overhead, extend hand(s) and arm(s) in multiple directions, bend and stoop to move items, perform close visual inspections, orally communicate information and instructions
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
  • Complete all required training and obtain required licensure within state guidelines.

Nice to have:

  • Immunization eligibility
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
