Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work in a pharmacy environment under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, customer service, inventory management, and supporting overall team culture. This position requires mobility, dexterity, and communication skills, and involves physical activities such as lifting and bending.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Ability to reach overhead
able to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to a considerable degree requiring full use of lower extremities and back muscles
Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs, exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
Complete all required training and obtain required licensure (if applicable) within state guidelines.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
