Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification).

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
ability to lift, scan, and bag items
ability to reach overhead, stretch or reach out with body, arms, or legs to grasp items
ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
ability to perform precision control operations
ability to stoop to move items between low and high positions
ability to use visual acuity for activities such as transcribing and visual inspection
ability to orally communicate information and instructions
occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
ability to complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
ability to complete all required training and obtain required licensure within state guidelines.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
