As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a Retail Pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe and effective work environment, modeling company values, and delivering exceptional care to each patient. Key areas of focus include patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and customer service.

Requirements:
Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity
Ability to reach overhead
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control
Ability to stoop, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
Visual acuity for transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts
Oral communication skills for instructing colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Once state regulations are met, pharmacy interns should strive to provide patient immunizations.
