Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role involves ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment, delivering exceptional patient care, and completing key tasks such as patient safety, inventory management, and customer service. You will also work on developing professional skills in a supportive culture focused on continuous improvement and growth.

Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
Lead roles in Patient Safety, Pharmacy Professional Practice, Regulatory Requirements, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Inventory Management, Workflow Management excluding final prescription verification.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobility and ability to remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for tasks like typing or picking
Ability to reach overhead and extend arms
Precision control for adjusting machines
Stoop and bend spine
Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and transcribing
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
