Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and play a critical role in delivering exceptional care to patients while ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include patient care, safety, inventory management, quality assurance, and customer service, amongst others.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
strong communication and presentation skills
complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
ability to lift, scan, and bag items
ability to pick, pinch, type or otherwise work primarily with fingers
reach overhead and stretch arms and/or legs to grasp items
extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
stoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of lower extremities and back muscles
visual acuity for activities such as transcribing, computer use, reading and small parts inspection
oral communication skills to convey information and instructions
occasional lifting up to 20 lbs and exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
