Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include promoting patient safety, adhering to professional practice standards, managing workflow, and delivering exceptional care to patients.

Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity
Ability to reach overhead, stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control: able to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop, bend spine at the waist, or fully use lower extremities for low to high movements
Visual acuity to transcribe, work on a computer, or inspect small parts
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs and exerting force to move objects.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
