Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management excluding final prescription verification. You will be immersed in a culture of continuous improvement with the goal of changing health care for the better.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Picking, pinching, typing or working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead and stretch with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Precision control to adjust machines
Stoop to a considerable degree to move items at different heights
Visual Acuity for transcribing, viewing computer screens, reading, and inspections
Communicate information orally
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
