Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment. Deliver exceptional care, align with CVS values, and help patients on their path to better health. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and more.

Workflow management excluding final prescription verification
Adoption and management of patient care programs

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead and extend hand(s) and arm(s)
Precision control: adjust machines
Stoop and use lower extremities and back muscles
Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity for transcribing, computer work, and small part inspection
Oral communication
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Striving to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met
