Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and providing excellent customer service. You will lead with heart, support patient care programs, and be part of a purpose-driven team striving to deliver better health outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity for typing or working with fingers
Ability to reach overhead and move items
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop, bend spine at the waist, and lift items between low and high positions
Visual acuity for activities such as transcribing and reading
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Pharmacy interns should strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
