Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a Retail Pharmacy work environment, ensuring patient safety, professional practice, and regulatory compliance while delivering care to patients. Responsibilities include adoption and management of patient care programs, inventory management, and workflow management. Interns are also expected to enhance patient and colleague experiences through empathy, collaboration, and enthusiasm.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Ability to reach overhead
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in multiple directions
Precision control: Adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles
Visual Acuity: Close visual acuity to perform activities
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
