Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a significant role in the pharmacy team, delivering exceptional care under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment, focusing on patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, and regulatory quality while supporting inventory and workflow management.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity for picking, pinching, typing or working with fingers
Ability to reach overhead to grasp items
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control for adjusting machines
Ability to stoop to move items between low and high positions
Close visual acuity for transcribing, viewing computer terminal, and visual inspection
Oral communication skills for information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Ability to complete all required tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
