Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will support a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment and deliver exceptional care to patients. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, customer service, and inventory management.

Job Responsibility:

Lead with heart and display empathy for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Collaborate with others to deliver better outcomes
Promote a team culture of caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment
Participate in patient care programs and management.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger dexterity while working with fingers rather than whole hand or arm
Reach overhead
Stretch or reach out to grasp items
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) to place, move, or lift items
Ability to complete tasks requiring visual acuity and precision control
Stoop to move items between low and high positions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
