Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.

Job Responsibility:

Keeping customers and patients healthy through adoption of patient care programs
Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Collaborate with others and deliver better outcomes
Promote a team culture of caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability to have visual acuity for close inspection involving small parts
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
Ability to complete required licensure and training within state guidelines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
