At CVS Health, pharmacy interns have a significant role in delivering patient care, ensuring pharmacy safety, and contributing to workflow management under supervision. This includes responsibilities tied to patient safety, customer service, and inventory management.
Job Responsibility:

Manage patient care programs
Deliver exceptional pharmacy services under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Requirements:
Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, scan, and bag items
Ability for finger dexterity to pick, pinch, type or otherwise work primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm
Ability to reach overhead and stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift items
Precision control to adjust machines to exact positions
Ability to stoop to a considerable degree and require full use of lower extremities and back muscles
Ability for close visual acuity to transcribe, view a computer terminal, read, visual inspection involving small parts
Ability to orally communicate information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs and exerting up to 20 lbs of force occasionally
Ability to complete additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
Complete all required training and obtain required licensure within state guidelines.
Nice to have:
Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
