Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you have a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment, working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will assist with patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and customer service responsibilities.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead
stretch or reach out with body, arms, and/or legs to grasp items
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) to place, move, or lift items
Adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to move items between low and high positions
Close visual acuity for activities such as transcribing, reading, or visual inspection involving small parts
Oral communication of information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Providing patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
