Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and play a role in a Retail Pharmacy setting. Your responsibilities include ensuring a safe and effective work environment, providing patient care, inventory management, and promoting a collaborative team culture.

Job Responsibility:

Lead with Heart – display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes
Align others around the purpose to bring your heart to every moment of health
Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
Manage inventory and workflow excluding final prescription verification
Provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Finger Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers
Reach overhead, able to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions
Precision control: adjust machines to exact positions
Stoop to a considerable degree requiring full use of lower extremities and back muscles
Close visual acuity to transcribe, view a computer terminal, or perform inspections
Able to orally communicate information to colleagues and customers
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
