Job Description:

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment. Responsibilities include patient safety, regulatory compliance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification. You will foster a team culture, lead with empathy, and support patient care programs.

Requirements:

Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
0-3 years relevant work experience
Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working with fingers
Reach overhead
Adjust machines with precision
Bend spine at the waist
Close visual acuity
Oral communication of information and instructions
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have:

Immunization eligibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to provide patient immunizations as per state regulations
