Job Description:

The Pharmacy Manager role at CVS Health involves leading and developing a pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with regulations and promoting best practices. Responsibilities include managing pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing, coaching team members, and supporting innovative patient care solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Overseeing the pharmacy team during bench shifts, including strengthening pharmacy performance measures through effective coaching and consistent follow-up of pharmacy team members
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures
Contributing to positive patient experiences by demonstrating compassionate care and proactively resolving issues
Offering and delivering immunizations
Managing pharmacy inventory and maintaining compliance with regulations
Conducting onboarding and training for new team members
Ensuring pharmacy operations are fully compliant with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Reviewing business reporting for operational insights and developing action plans
Building a culture of safety, inclusion, and empowerment
Expanding clinical and technical knowledge to support evolving patient care
Supporting access to care through pharmacist-delivered clinical care.

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist
Completion of required training within designated timeframe
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business need.

Nice to have:

Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program
3-5 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
