Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health, you will lead and develop a pharmacy team to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws while cultivating a culture of safety and empowerment. Responsibilities include managing operations, coaching team members, delivering immunizations, onboarding new hires, and maintaining clinical and technical skills to improve customer outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Overseeing the pharmacy team during bench shifts
Strengthening pharmacy performance measures through effective coaching
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Providing compassionate care
Offering and delivering immunizations to patients
Conducting onboarding and training for pharmacy team members
Ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Managing performance through direct observation and validation
Writing and overseeing pharmacy schedules
Reviewing business reporting for insights
Implementing action plans to improve operations and close gaps
Establishing a culture of safety, empowerment, and inclusion
Supporting access to care and improving patient outcomes through clinical care services

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacist

Nice to have:

Completion of the CVS Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PM-EL) program
3-5 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business need
