As a Pharmacy Sales Specialist at Baxter, you will represent a deep portfolio of pharmacy products to hospital pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals. You will achieve sales quotas, provide technical information, and collaborate with teams to enhance patient outcomes. This role requires travel within the Charlotte, NC region and surrounding territories.
Job Responsibility:
Achieving sales quotas and metrics through direct promotion and sale of pharmacy portfolio
Calling on current and prospective hospital customers focusing on pharmacy departments
Providing technical product information, managing customer contracts and supporting new product launches
Monitoring sales against forecasts and implementing sales strategies
Providing customer feedback to sales and marketing teams for potential strategy development
Promoting the Baxter Culture and maintaining positive relationships.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree with 3+ years experience or 6+ years of relevant experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous hospital pharmacy sales experience is preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication, both written and oral
Negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies
Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs
Strong business acumen and knowledge of sales processes
Candidate must live within the territory
Must have a valid driver’s license
Field sales role with at least 50% travel required.
