Job Description:

CVS Health is hiring for the Pharmacy Technician - Support Staff role in a closed-door pharmacy setting. The position involves processing facility returns, coordinating restocking, pre-packaging medications, and working collaboratively to deliver customer support. The job includes warehouse duties and inventory tasks, all while adhering to OSHA and safety guidelines. The role is full-time and provides a range of benefits including insurance, retirement plans, and employee discounts.

Job Responsibility:

Preparing finished prescriptions as well as other light warehouse duties
Performing physical inventories of medication
Scanning all medication pending for delivery
Sorting baskets for delivery by facility units, location, and delivery times
Processing facility returns in the computer system accurately and timely
Restocking medications in appropriate locations after processing
Ensuring all paperwork is completed and submitted for accurate updating
Reading put away labels to determine storage location of merchandise and verifying item is correct
Packaging medications in unit dose packages accurately
Performing other duties as required by Supervisor/Management.

Requirements:

Ability to read and write
Work overtime as required, in emergency situations or when prior notification is given by management
Physical Demands: Occasional lifting requirement (0-33%)
Frequent bending/reaching/stooping (25%)
Frequent walking/standing/climbing (25%)
Work Environment: Warehouse and outside environments, including seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors.
