The Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to work in a leading retail pharmacy, assisting patients in managing prescriptions, adhering to compliance standards, and delivering compassionate care. Job Responsibility:
Managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
Providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations
Satisfying all registration, licensing, and certification requirements
Completing CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Ensuring medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients
Demonstrating ethical conduct and maintaining patient confidentiality
Building clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge
Judging when something is wrong or likely to go wrong
Choosing the best course of action in complex situations.
Requirements:
Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
