Job Description:

The Pharmacy Technician position provides individuals with an opportunity to work in a leading retail pharmacy company, positively impacting the lives and health of others. Pharmacy Technicians manage all assigned pharmacy tasks, support the team’s ability to meet pharmacy goals, and deliver caring service while ensuring medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met.

Job Responsibility:

Manage pharmacy workstations and tasks
Promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions
Provide caring service to exceed customer expectations
Support team’s ability to meet pharmacy goals
Ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met
Maintain ethical conduct and patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Attention and focus
Customer service orientation
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution
Physical demands including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs
Visual acuity
PTCB National Certification preferred
Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred
