Job Description:

Join the CVS Health team as a Pharmacy Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to patients and customers while building your pharmacy career. This part-time position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment providing services that positively impact health quality. You will manage pharmacy tasks, complete training programs, uphold ethical standards, and build professional knowledge to contribute to better health outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions
Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
Complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines
Maintain ethical conduct and patient confidentiality
Build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge through training

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Physical demands including remaining upright on feet for sustained periods, moving about on foot, picking, pinching, typing or hand usage, bending body downward, expressing ideas verbally, perceiving sounds, close visual acuity, occasional lifting up to 30 lbs

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
