Job Description:

The Pharmacy Technician position offers the opportunity to work with CVS Health, focusing on increasing patient access to care, improving quality, and lowering costs. As part of a fast-paced team, technicians deliver compassionate care, manage workstations, and support pharmacy operations. CVS provides extensive training, career development tools, and compliance with state guidelines.

Job Responsibility:

Manage assigned pharmacy workstations
Promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
Provide caring service exceeding customer expectations
Maintain professional and ethical standards
Ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met
Maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Attention and focus for a prolonged period
Customer service orientation and friendly demeanor
Communication skills including active listening and verbal/written interaction
Mathematical reasoning for prescription calculations
Problem resolution abilities
Physical demands including standing, moving, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs
Visual acuity for detailed inspection and computer work

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
