Job Description:

The Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health provides an opportunity to positively impact the lives and health of patients. Duties include filling patient prescriptions, building clinical knowledge, and delivering caring service that exceeds expectations.

Job Responsibility:

Managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
Promptly, safely and accurately filling patient prescriptions
Providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations
Ensuring medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met
Demonstrating ethical conduct and maintaining patient confidentiality
Participating in CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Building clinical, technical and insurance knowledge and expertise

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Attention and focus
Customer service orientation
Communication skills
Mathematical reasoning
Problem resolution
Physical demands remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
Visual acuity
Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification
