Job Description:

At CVS Health, technicians play a critical role in supporting pharmacy teams, delivering exceptional experiences to patients, and ensuring safe and effective pharmacy operations. The role includes tasks such as prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and providing additional health services like immunizations. Rigorous training and certification are required.

Job Responsibility:

Support pharmacy team in delivering operational excellence
assist in prescription fulfillment safely and accurately
create positive patient experiences through empathy and care
complete inventory tasks such as medication deliveries and cycle counts
participate in training and meet certification requirements
comply with federal, state, and local laws related to pharmacy practices
provide additional healthcare services such as immunizations.

Requirements:

Comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
minimum age requirement of at least 16 years (if not mandated by state board)
high school diploma or equivalent (if not mandated by state board)
state-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to work in home store and across market locations.
