Job Description:

Pharmacy Technicians play a critical role in supporting pharmacy teams and delivering exceptional service to patients. Unique responsibilities include prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and providing compassionate care.

Job Responsibility:

Living purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation
following pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
completing basic inventory activities such as putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts and other inventory tasks
contributing to a high-performing team and seeking opportunities to expand knowledge
understanding and complying with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and professional standards
delivering additional patient care services such as immunizations and testing where allowable by law.

Requirements:

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification
must be at least 16 years of age if the state board of pharmacy does not mandate a minimum age requirement
must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program if the state board does not mandate a minimum educational requirement
state-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs.
