As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support CVS Health's pharmacy team to deliver excellent service, operational efficiency, and personalized patient care. Technicians are required to meet all state registration, licensure, and certification requirements, ensuring patient safety and compliance with standardized practices. The role spans technical, customer-facing, and administrative functions, contributing to CVS’s mission of transforming health care.
Job Responsibility:
Living our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation to help our Pharmacists manage and improve patient health
Following pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
Completing basic inventory activities, as permitted by law, such as putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts and returns-to-stock
Contributing to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset, and being receptive to feedback
Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to stores in the market to work shifts
Complying with federal, state, and local laws, CVS policies, and safe patient care practices
Delivering additional patient health care services where allowable by law and supported by training
Requirements:
Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Nice to have:
1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
