Job Description:

Technicians play a critical role in supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence. They assist patients and customers to deliver exceptional experiences by managing inventory, complying with company policies and regulations, supporting immunizations, and acting as trusted partners in health care services.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting pharmacy teams to deliver exceptional operational and service excellence
assisting pharmacy teams with prescription fulfillment accurately and safely
providing empathetic and personalized service to patients
completing basic inventory activities like medication deliveries and stock counts
contributing to a high-performing team dynamic
traveling voluntarily to other stores to meet business needs
complying with relevant laws, regulations, and CVS policies
delivering additional patient health care services like immunizations and testing where allowable by law

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
must be at least 16 years of age if no state-mandated minimum age is provided
must have a high school diploma or equivalent if no state-mandated minimum educational requirement is provided
state-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Nice to have:

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs
