Job Description:

The Pharmacy Technician position at CVS Health allows individuals to work in a retail pharmacy setting where they provide high-quality, patient-focused care. Technicians are responsible for maintaining professional and ethical standards, regulatory compliance, and delivering compassionate care to patients. Job Responsibility:

Manage pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
Ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met
Maintain patient confidentiality
Demonstrate ethical conduct.

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
Customer service orientation including actively looking for ways to help people
Effective communication skills, including verbal and written communication
Mathematical reasoning to solve problems
Problem resolution skills to judge and choose the best course of action
Physical demands include ability to stand for sustained periods, move about on foot, and lift up to 30 lbs
Visual acuity for detailed inspection and work
Completion of CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and all state registration, licensing, and certification requirements.

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification.
