Job Description:

At CVS Health, Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy teams in delivering operational and service excellence while assisting patients and customers. Responsibilities include prescription fulfillment, customer service, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws. Technicians must complete training, licensing, and certification requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Following pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
creating heartfelt and personalized customer moments at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone
contributing to positive patient experiences by offering immunizations and other services
completing inventory activities such as putting away medication deliveries and cycle counts
expanding clinical and technical knowledge to assist patients better
remaining flexible for business needs by traveling to other stores
ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical principles

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
must be at least 16 years of age
must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
state-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Nice to have:

1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations
