Job Description:

Pharmacy Technicians at CVS Health deliver compassionate care to patients and play a key role in shaping healthcare. Working in a fast-paced environment, they ensure medication needs and compliance standards are met while demonstrating accountability, caring, collaboration, innovation, and integrity.

Job Responsibility:

Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
Safely and accurately fill patient prescriptions
Demonstrate compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers
Comply with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations
Ensure ethical conduct and patient confidentiality
Complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge and expertise.

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Physical Demands including standing for extended periods
occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
PTCB National Certification.
