Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you will support pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence within the store. Responsibilities include assisting patients and customers, ensuring smooth pharmacy operations, and contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace culture. Job duties require compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, completing required training, and supporting immunizations where permitted. Our mission focuses on making health more personal, convenient, and affordable for our customers.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
assisting patients and customers with an exceptional experience
ensuring smooth pharmacy operations
following company standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow procedures
completing basic inventory activities such as medication deliveries, cycle counts, and waiting bin inventories
demonstrating genuine care and contributing to a safe and inclusive culture
voluntarily traveling to stores in the market to work shifts as needed
complying with all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations
delivering additional patient health care services where permitted
supporting immunizations where permissible and complying with state regulations.

Requirements:

Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program
state-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Nice to have:

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
ability to work in the home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs.
