Job Description:

The role of a Piping Layout Engineer involves handling various responsibilities including reviewing contract documents, preparing project execution plans, monitoring progress, ensuring quality system compliance, coordinating design and development processes, managing schedules and resources, guiding project documentation, and serving as a link between clients and vendors. The role demands extensive experience in FPSO Topside Detail Engineering.

Job Responsibility:

Review contract documents and clarify issues
Prepare and execute project plans
Monitor progress and report status
Identify concerns and implement timely remedies
Ensure compliance with Quality systems
Design and Development review and control
Prepare and manage detailed engineering schedules
Coordinate with departments and clients
Guide and review critical project documents
Expedite client/vendor communications
Conduct project meetings and promote teamwork
Handle and submit change requests
Review all detailed engineering deliverables
Prepare presentations for Client Model reviews (30%, 60%, and 90%).

Requirements:

B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical
15-18 years of experience
Must have a minimum of 3 FPSO Topside Detail Engineering execution experiences
Familiarity with contract document review and project execution plans
Ability to monitor progress and update reference plans
Strong understanding of Quality systems and procedures
Capable of design review, validation, and development control
Proficiency in preparing schedules, manpower/resource planning, and departmental engineering schedules
Experience in coordinating with departments and clients
Expertise in handling Weight control reports, Material Handling Reports, and Tie-ins interface management
Experience in client/vendor management and project documentation
Ability to participate in meetings and promote team collaboration
Skilled in understanding and submitting change requests
Presentation skills for Client Model reviews (30%, 60%, 90%).
