Job Description:

We are in the search for a skilled Plant Controller to become a part of our team in the manufacturing industry, located in LOUDON, Tennessee. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing a range of financial activities including costing, variance analysis, and the review of accounts payable. You will also be tasked with managing a single accounting clerk and reporting directly to the CFO.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the entire process of costing within the manufacturing setting
Conduct detailed variance analysis to ensure financial consistency
Manage and review all accounts payable
Execute accurate journal entries as per business transactions
Ensure timely completion of month-end close activities
Complete bank reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial records
Manage balance sheet account reconciliation processes
Utilize SAP for various accounting and financial activities
Lead the budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure financial stability
Supervise a single accounting clerk, ensuring efficiency in their tasks

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role as a Plant Controller
Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience in Cost Accounting
Knowledge of Standard Cost Accounting
Familiarity with Manufacturing Cost Accounting
Ability to maintain and create Journal Entries
Experience with Month End Close procedures
Proficient in Bank Reconciliations
Experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
Proficiency in utilizing SAP
Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting procedures
