Job Description:

The candidate will be tasked with overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, and maintaining internal controls to ensure smooth operational workflows. This role is pivotal in providing valuable financial insights to aid strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
Prepare and scrutinize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
Lead closing activities at the end of the month and the year
Maintain cost accounting systems, including standard cost development, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
Conduct cost analysis to identify potential areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Monitor and analyze manufacturing variances, including labor, material, and overhead costs
Coordinate with plant leadership to develop annual budgets and long-term financial plans
Provide financial forecasts and performance analysis to aid in decision-making processes
Track and manage capital expenditures, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Act as a financial advisor to plant management, providing insights on profitability, cost control, and operational improvements
Work with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to drive process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
Support plant leadership in evaluating business opportunities, capital investments, and strategic initiatives
Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets
Adhere to company financial policies and procedures
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial reviews

Requirements:

Experience in the manufacturing industry
Staff management experience
