Job Description:
Ready to power the future? Join us as a PV Test Specialist! We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional to revolutionize product testing and verification in the field of PV technology. Put your expertise to work by testing cutting-edge PV products and collaborating with our engineering design team for precise design verification. Get hands-on with advanced tools—wire test setups using grid simulators, PV simulators, and data analyzers.
Job Responsibility:
  • Test PV products
  • Interface with the Engineering design team on performing design verification tests
  • Wire test setups, utilizing equipment such as grid simulators, PV simulators and data analyzers
  • Assist in the development of test processes and procedures
  • Conduct tests, analyze test data, and write test reports to record performance and provide data to support product compliance with internal and external customer specifications and applicable third-party standards
  • Assist in the upgrade and maintenance of lab equipment
  • Support manufacturing and reliability in the testing of products and the verification of second source components
Requirements:
  • Diploma/degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with performing tests at a system, subassembly, and board level
  • Experience with testing in an Engineering design environment
  • Working knowledge of test equipment: DVMs, Scopes and power analyzers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills at the system, subassembly and board level
Nice to have:
  • Experience with test processes and safe work practices used in high power AC/DC systems
  • Experience with AC/DC power converters such as Inverters and/or Chargers
  • Power electronics background
  • Proficiency with any programming languages (C++, Python)
  • Experience with using environmental test chambers and associated tests (thermal, THB)
  • Skill with using mechanical hardware tools and equipment: drill press, milling machines, band-saws
  • Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing
  • Proficiency in PCBA rework (soldering and de-soldering thru-hole and SMT components)
  • Working experience in a lab environment
