Job Description:

The purpose of a Practice Manager at Oak Street Health is to lead and manage operations at a single primary care clinic location. Responsibilities include managing a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring positive patient experience, overseeing clinical operations, and driving operational and clinical outcomes in alignment with company values and standards.

Job Responsibility:

Hire, train, supervise, coach, mentor and manage a multi-disciplinary team of 15+
ensure the clinic is a Great Place to Work
ensure clinic operations are running smoothly and safely daily
ensure unmatched patient experience
drive results for patients in Oak Street Health's care model
lead the implementation of in-clinic operational initiatives
oversee patient scheduling processes
handle building-related issues as needed
use proprietary software and EMR systems to monitor and complete tasks
partner with Center Medical Director and Outreach Manager to make collaborative decisions
ensure profitability for the center.

Requirements:

2 or more years of experience in a supervisory role
ability to work flexible hours as needed
proficient PC skills
US work authorization
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field (strongly preferred)
5 or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting (strongly preferred)
fluency in Spanish or other languages spoken by the communities served (preferred)
experience with Google Suite (preferred)
experience successfully driving teams towards achievement of metrics (preferred)
passion for mentorship and team development
ability to drive a collaborative, patient-centric culture
problem-solving orientation
flexible and positive attitude
proactive and adaptable working style
impeccable judgment and maturity
supportive attitude toward older adult patient population
ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice to have:
