Randstad is partnering up with a leading international bank globally! They are looking for premier relationship managers across different branches of various sizes.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary relationship manager for high-value clients, demonstrating professionalism, customer-centric service, and a comprehensive understanding of financial planning principles
Acquire, retain, and deepen relationships within a portfolio of Premier clients, collaborating with branch and direct teams to achieve business objectives and performance targets
Conduct in-depth portfolio reviews to assess and address clients’ financial needs, both immediate and long-term
Expand the Premier client base by onboarding new customers and upgrading existing ones, positioning yourself as their trusted financial advisor
Strengthen client relationships through proactive engagement, cross-selling opportunities, and tailored financial solutions
Identify clients who no longer meet Premier criteria and implement appropriate strategies, whether by reinstating eligibility or facilitating a seamless transition
Maintain high service quality standards in line with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Take full accountability for portfolio performance, ensuring alignment with the Target Operating Model (TOM) set by the organization
Foster a high-performance culture within the branch, working collaboratively to achieve wealth and personal banking (WPB) objectives while delivering top-tier service
Identify opportunities for wealth reviews and refer clients to wealth advisors as needed
Drive portfolio growth and execute the WPB business plan by identifying client needs, leveraging available resources, and ensuring compliance with global and local regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or diploma from a recognized institution
At least five (5) years of progressive experience in financial services, retail sales, or a related field
Proven track record in sales, particularly in insurance and investment products
Strong experience in managing relationships with high-net-worth clients
Solid technical expertise in wealth management solutions
Excellent communication, client engagement, and influencing skills
Sales-driven, with strong networking and portfolio management capabilities
In-depth understanding of financial products, services, and client relationship management systems
Familiarity with business banking segments, products, and services
Must hold relevant certifications, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Pre-Contract Examination – Life and Insurance (PCE), Federation of Investment Managers (Unit Trust), Malaysian Takaful Association License (MTA), and Investor Protection Professional Certification (IPPC)
Strong awareness of risk, compliance, and internal controls, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines
Proficiency in English and local languages is required.
