Job Description:

As our Press Brake Operative, you will be operating our Bystronic press brake machines to enable the manufacture of component parts to drawing in line with production schedules. You will liaise with your Cell Leader to meet production commitments in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Operate and set Bystronic 80 to 150 tonne press brakes
Undertake general metalworking duties as required – rolling & forming may be necessary
Work flexibly within the sheet metal team, assisting where necessary from time to time with the Laser machine
Contribute to the departmental output, working towards KPI’s required

Requirements:

Have the ability to operate the Press brake
Be able to attend work regularly and punctually
Have the ability to work unsupervised
Be self motivated, methodical and precise
Be flexible and positive in your approach (flexibility to work shift pattern)
Working with Bystronic equipment
Working within a similar environment
Operating to tight deadlines

Nice to have:

Experience with OEMs or 1st/2nd tier suppliers
