Job Responsibility:
Ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues
Place orders and schedule the delivery of assigned commodities in accordance with entity requirements and objectives
Manage commodity to avoid discrepant material, logistic and transportation problems, reduce obsolete or excess material
Manage day-to-day activities to improve suppliers performance
Participate in negotiation efforts and influence commodity strategies
Ensure compliance with ISO, distribution and finance audit requirements and Government and Corporate policies and regulations
Update standard costs for assigned parts
Control inventory of assigned parts in accordance to defined management objectives to ensure assurance of supply, this includes disposition of excess and non-active inventory
Maintain data integrity of all procurement databases for assigned parts
Acts as primary contact for field replacement and exchange part requirements
Participates in Supply Chain Performance Review Meetings
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree Engineering or Business Administration
Experience in Supply Chain Procurement management roles with Direct Manufacturers (Preferable 1+ years)
SAP Procurement profound knowledge
Must be fluent in English and Spanish
Intermediate level skill proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Able to work without direct supervision
Flexibility to adjust working schedule based on business needs
