Job Description:

This role involves the development and implementation of finance and accounting applications in support of a major project. The position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Developing solutions using Microsoft .NET
Consulting directly with finance and accounting personnel
Working with Microsoft technologies in enterprise-level environments
Communicating requirements in technical discussions
Ensuring smooth operation of systems
Utilizing skills in Planning, Payroll, Finance, Consulting, Microsoft Access, Implementation, Financial Reporting
Providing support for the Florida Planning Accounting and Ledger Management (PALM) Project
Collaborating with a team
Re-engineering and testing applications
Contributing to the replacement of the core functionality of the state's financial system

Requirements:

Developing solutions using Microsoft .NET
Consulting directly with finance and accounting personnel
Working with Microsoft technologies in enterprise-level environments
Communicating requirements in technical discussions
Ensuring smooth operation of systems
Utilizing skills in Planning, Payroll, Finance, Consulting, Microsoft Access, Implementation, Financial Reporting

Demonstrated proficiency in planning and implementation
Experience with payroll management
Familiarity with 'About Time' software
Strong financial understanding and skills
Consultancy experience
Ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Access
Experience in financial reporting, funds, and financial services
Knowledge of cash management techniques
Experience in application development
Familiarity with ledger and treasury management
Proficiency in .NET Framework and other Microsoft Technologies
Understanding of replacement procedures and term contracts
Experience with Content Management System (CMS)
Familiarity with financial systems
Proficiency in SQL Database
Knowledge of fiscal policies and procedures
Ability to work with the Go programming language
